In India, the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is a banking recruitment agency for rural banks. The recruitment is done through an exam conducted by NABARD. The candidate is given the opportunity to practice for the exam and if they pass, they are hired on a permanent basis. The applicant must be an Indian citizen, above 18 years of age and must have a degree or a diploma in any field.
The candidate must have good communication skills and be able to interact with people. In addition, the applicant must have knowledge of basic mathematics, English, and any other language.
The syllabus for the exam is set by NABARD and it consists of multiple-choice questions and fill-in-the-blanks.
